Absolutely the Sequence got it all started for female MC’s with Cheryl the Pearl being not only one of the greatest females to pick up the mike, but one of the most craftiest and clever with lyrics ever. Blondie without question was hip hops first sex symbol with looks and a commanding voice. And what can be said about Angie B a.k.a. Angie Brown a.k.a. Angie Stone who will go down in history as a hip hop pioneer that stood up too the test of time in hip hop as a member of the Sequence, neo-soul as a member of Vertical Hold and her own solo career. The Sequence along with Sha Rock of the Funky Four plus one opened the door for Roxanne Shante, Salt-N-Pepa, MC Lyte and Queen Latifah; this honor will be long over due.

Yes but not now, way too early. Jam Master Jay, Grandmaster D, D.J. Jazzy Jeff, Eric B., and Spinderella comes first. But yes soon after the above.
